Joplin woman injured in collision on 66

A Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:05 a.m. Monday on MO 66 two miles west of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Honda CRV driven by a 16-year-old Joplin girl failed to yield and struck a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Arlys E. Unke, 66, Joplin, in the left side as it was attempting to cross MO 66 on Central City Road, causing the Unke vehicle to overturn.

Unke was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
