Apparently, this is the Joplin Police Department's new way of providing arrests. I am guessing this has to do with the state rules about posting personally identifiable information. Unfortunately, this creates a number of problems.
For instance, without ages or at least the city where the arrested people are from, it creates a probability that readers may think people who have the same name were the ones who were arrested.
The department also no longer appears to be posting information about those who failed to appear, something that gives us a good idea about how the system operates.
Unfortunately, I am guessing this is what we are going to keep receiving.
