A Golden City woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 1:10 p.m. Monday at A Strett and Mill Avenue in Golden City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Tierra F. Welch, 18, Golden City, failed to yield to a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Sarah J. Greene, 32, Golden City, and struck the vehicle on its passenger side.
The Greene vehicle ran off the left side of the road, crossed a ditch and struck a tree.
Greene was treated for serious injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
