City of Joplin's excess surplus auction scheduled

The City’s annual surplus auction is set for Saturday, September 14. 

The auction begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be held in the Street Maintenance Barn at the Public Works Center, 1301 West 2nd Street, Joplin, MO.

Items to be auctioned will be available for viewing on site from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, September 13, and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, before the start of the auction.

The list of items to be auctioned will be posted to the City’s website on September 4, pending approval of the list by the City Council. Once the list is posted, we will post an updated press release with a link to view the items list.
