An Everton woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:30 a.m. today on Route E eight miles northwest of Lockwood.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Honda Pilot driven by Chelsey D. Bowles, 33, Everton, swerved to avoid a deer, went off the roadway and struck a tree.
Bowles was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
