TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime Lane Reductions on Route 60 in Newton Co. for Pavement Repair Aug. 25-28

Where: U.S. Route 60 at Newton County Route M/W east of Granby

When: 9 p.m.-9 a.m., Sunday, August 25-Wednesday, August 28

What: Contractor crews repairing concrete pavement

Traffic Impact

Newton County Routes M & W CLOSED at Route 60

Route 60 reduced to one lane at Routes M & W

Drivers will encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone

Work will be done during nighttime hours (9 p.m.-9 a.m.); all lanes open to traffic during daytime hours

No signed detour

Drivers should find alternate routes

Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone

Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling delays could alter the work schedule.

This is part of a project to make pavement repairs along U.S. Route 60 and Missouri Route 59 in Newton County.
