A Joplin woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:23 p.m. today on MO 37 three miles west of Pierce City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Ford Contour driven by Jolie K. Powell, 18, Joplin, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting Powell.
Powell was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
