Unattended burn pit leads to structure fire in Arcadia

Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a structure fire located on the 400 block of South Kansas in Arcadia. 

Upon arrival, the uninhabited structure was fully engulfed. 

The accidental fire was started when a burn pit that was left unattended, spread to the structure. No one was injured. 

Arcadia Fire, Crawford County District #2 Fire, and Crawford County EMS responded to the fire.
