(From KGCS)Great leaders can turn a business disaster into a positive learning experience. Dr. Josef Hynek, former rector of the University of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic, is this week’s guest on Newsmakers sharing lessons that were part of a campus lecture series.
Hynek discusses the benefits that can come from a failure in business and how you can learn from your mistakes. He also shares benefits of studying abroad in Europe where a stay can offer exposure to several countries because of their close proximity. And he discusses how to manage geeks while offering insight into the life of a famous geek, Alan Turing, who cracked the Nazi code during World War II.
Newsmakers is airing nightly at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. the week of November 17 on KGCS-TV and will air at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, November 23 on KOAM-TV. It is also posted on the station’s YouTube channel: KGCS - Missouri Southern State University.
