Where: Missouri Route 66 (7th Street) between Vermont Avenue and Park Avenue in Joplin
When: 7 a.m., Friday, December 6 through 7 p.m., Sunday, December 8
What: Missouri American Water crews making repairs to water pipe
Traffic Impacts
Route 66 (7th Street) CLOSED between Vermont Avenue and Park Avenue
Drivers will be directed along a signed detour of Michigan Avenue north to 5th Street, right on Elm Street, right on 4th Street and right on McConnell Avenue
Access will be maintained to all businesses
Drivers should find alternate route
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
