OFFICER OF THE MONTH- SEPTEMBER 2024OFFICER MARCOS ENCARNACION
Officer Encarnacion was dispatched to a possible burglary in progress on September 9, 2024, at 4401 W Par Lane.
Despite the suspects fleeing the scene before his arrival, Officer Encarnacion remained vigilant, continuing to check the surrounding area.
His persistence paid off when he located the suspect vehicle with brand new appliances and job site equipment in the bed of the truck near W 20th St and Dry Creek Lane.
Ofc Encarnacion safely conducted a traffic stop, detained two offenders responsible for the burglary, and ensured the stolen appliances were returned to their rightful owner without damage.
In addition to solving a burglary, Officer Encarnacion demonstrated consistent proactivity throughout the month of September. He successfully apprehended three individuals for driving while intoxicated, made multiple arrest for drug offenses ranging from misdemeanors to felonies.
Officer Encarnacion’s diligent efforts have made an impact, both in solving crimes and maintaining community trust.
