(From the City of Joplin)Enjoy uniquely decorated Christmas trees at Holiday Tree Trail in Mercy Park from December 4 through December 31. Joplin Parks and Recreation, the City of Joplin, and Visit Joplin are continuing the holiday tradition with opening night from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4.
While viewing the theme-decorated trees from businesses and organizations, patrons can enjoy cookies from Casey’s, hot chocolate served by the Joplin Rotary Sculpture Garden Board, hot rolls and peanuts from Texas Roadhouse, refreshments sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House of Joplin, and musical performances by Karen’s Dance Studio. And be sure to stop and see Santa.
The Tree Trail is open every night until 10 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite tree by scanning the QR code next to it through December 31. Winners receive gift cards from our event sponsor, Texas Roadhouse.
And no worries if you cannot get to Mercy Park during the evening hours. Although the trees will not be lit up, their themes will show, and patrons can also enjoy 30 creative sculptures in the Joplin Rotary Sculpture Garden. Mercy Park is a great place to enjoy a unique holiday season experience.
