A Joplin man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 11:42 a.m. today on Aspen Road three miles southeast of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 BMW F-650 driven by a 22-year-old Joplin man traveled across a T intersection, struck a fence and overturned.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatality was the 68th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
