Joplin woman suffers serious injuries in collision on W. Daylight Lane

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 11:07 p.m. Sunday on W. Daylight Lane four miles west from Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Ford Focus driven by a 34-year-old Joplin woman crossed the center lane and struck a 1997 Ford F250 driven by a 61-year-old Parsons, Kansas man.

The Joplin woman was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.

The Parsons man was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
