MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Forward 44: I-44 Nighttime Lane Closures from Joplin to Strafford
Beginning July 21

Where: Nighttime lane Closures along I-44 in Newton, Jasper, Lawrence, and Greene counties between Main Street (Missouri Route 43) in Joplin to Missouri Route 125 in Strafford

When: 8 p.m. – 6 a.m. beginning Monday, July 21, until late September

What: Contractor crews will be collecting core samples for the Forward 44 project. Crews will begin on I-44 near Main Street in Joplin and work their way east toward Missouri Route 125 in Strafford.
