An Asbury man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 10:30 p.m. Friday on County Road 260 seven miles northwest of Asbury.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2021 Polaris Ranger UTV driven by a 50-year-old Asbury man ran off the roadway and overturned ejecting the driver.
He was pronounced dead at 11:12 p.m. at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
The fatality was the 70th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
