A Miller man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 2:50 p.m. Sunday on MO 39 10 miles south of Aurora.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 62-year-old Miller man traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingen pronounced the driver dead at the scene at 4:15 p.m.
The fatality was the first this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
