Connect2Culture March performances include Irish band, classic fable adaptation

Connect2Culture’s (C2C) remaining March performances include a traditional Irish band and a playful theatrical adaptation of a classic fable.

“If you’re looking for something to do with your family this month, Connect2Culture can help!” said Emily Frankoski, Executive Director of C2C. “From the Irish spirit of Téada and the playful charm of ‘Hare & Tortoise’, this month is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy the magic of live theater and music.”








All performances in the 2025-2026 season will be held at C2C’s home theater—the 419-seat Beshore Performance Hall—or its outdoor amphitheater—the 1000-person Leggett & Platt Green—at the Cornell Complex (212 W 7th St).

Founded by Sligo fiddler Oisín Mac Diarmada, the group brings raw energy and refined artistry to their performances, blending lively jigs, reels, and ballads with a passion for Ireland’s musical heritage. From a 30,000-capacity concert in Brittany to tours across Japan and Taiwan, Téada delivers unforgettable live shows that have earned them worldwide acclaim.

Hare & Tortoise is a playful, music-filled adaptation of Aesop’s fable, brought to life by Tutti Frutti Productions. Featuring three actor-musicians, original songs, and inventive physical storytelling, this charming show follows a race through the seasons as two unlikely friends learn about patience, friendship, and personal growth. Tutti Frutti has been creating imaginative theatre for children aged 3 and up for more than 30 years, touring internationally and earning praise for its engaging, high-quality storytelling. Critics have celebrated Hare & Tortoise for its warmth, humor, and ability to introduce young audiences to the magic of live theatre.
