Drive-through option for City of Joplin's utility dropbox temporarily unavailable

(From the City of Joplin)

Due to utility work in the alley west of City Hall, the drive-through option for the City of Joplin’s utility drop box is temporarily unavailable through Monday, April 6. Customers can still drop their payments in the box by parking their vehicle and walking to the utility box.

The City recognizes the importance of this payment option and has asked the utility company to complete its work as quickly as possible.

Customers can also utilize several other options to pay their monthly bills. This includes:Pay online by going to www.joplinmo.org/payments . The site provides guidance to complete the process.

Mail the payment to the City of Joplin, 602 South Main, Joplin, Mo., 64801.

Pay in person at the Finance Department on the third floor of City Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Complete a form from the Finance Department to establish a bank draft payment. Residents may also call 417-624-0820, ext. 1267, to request that City staff mail a form to them.

We apologize for any inconvenience to our citizens and appreciate their understanding as the utility company completes their work near the utility box. Anticipated completion of utility work is April 6, weather permitting.
