TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 97/Capp Creek Bridge CLOSED in Barry Co. April 6-10
Where: Missouri Route 97 over Capp Creek between County Road 2040 and County Road 2050 southwest of Monett in Barry County
When: 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, April 6-10
Why: Contractor crews will be taking rock and soil samples on Route 97 in advance of a project to replace the bridge over Capp Creek.
Traffic Impacts
All lanes of Route 97 CLOSED 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, April 6-10
All lanes of Route 97 will be OPEN during nighttime hours
Drivers will have access to all driveways and entrances but will not be able to drive through the work zone
No signed detour
Drivers urged to find alternate routes, no signed detours are planned
Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
