Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Monday

..DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST MONDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CST MONDAY.
* SHORT TERM TRENDS...DENSE FOG IS DEVELOPING IN MANY AREAS FROM
THE JOPLIN AND MONETT AREAS NORTHEAST TO THE SPRINGFIELD AREA.
THE FOG IS EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD THIS EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT.
* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
10 AM. THE ADVISORY NOW COVERS AN AREA FROM SOUTHEAST KANSAS
INTO MUCH OF SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI.
* VISIBILITY...THE VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO A QUARTER OF A MILE OR
LESS IN MANY AREAS.
* IMPACTS...DRIVING MAY BECOME DIFFICULT DUE TO POOR VISIBILITY.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...
USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.
