Newsmakers program to focus on curbside recycling

The Newsmakers program airing the week of March 17th focuses on recycling in Joplin, and the proposal on the April ballot concerning curbside recycling. The program features Mary Anne Phillips, Joplin Recycling Coordinator. She explains the current operations at the recycling center and gives details about the curbside proposal.
The program is scheduled to air the following times on KGCS next week:
Monday, March 17 – 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 18 – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, March 24 – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 26 – 5:30 p.m.
The program will air at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15 on KOAM-TV.

Newsmakers is produced by KGCS-TV, a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University. Programming may be seen over the air on digital channel 22 and on regional cable television systems including Cable One, Mediacom and Suddenlink
