A deer caused an injury accident 8:38 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 290 three miles north of Asbury.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Jessie E. Davis, 19, Pittsburg, Kansas, driving a 2009 Yamaha Moped, attempted to avoid a deer and ran off the road. Davis was ejected from the vehicle.
Davis was treated for moderate injuries at Via Christy Hospital, Pittsburg.
