A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 1 p.m. today on Dogwood Road, a half mile south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Ford Ranger driven by Wyatt A. Gipson, 24, Carthage, ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole and a tree.
Gipson was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
