A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 12:37 a.m. today on I-49, four miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Ricardo Alverado, 20, Carthage, ran off the roadway, hit the median, overturned, caught fire, and burned.
Alverado was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
