A Jasper youth was injured in a two-vehicle 12 p.m. today on northbound I-49, two miles north of MO 71.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Kia Forte driven by Lori R. Taffner, 38, Jasper, struck the towed unit of a 2005 GMC 3500 driven by David Donald, 63, Florissant, from behind.
A passenger in the Taffner vehicle, Tennessee Taffner, 12, Jasper, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
