The Jasper County Route D bridge over Center Creek north of Hawthorn Road in Webb City will be CLOSED to repair a joint on the bridge beginning Tuesday, June 14, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The bridge will be CLOSED between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday with the repairs expected to be completed by June 23. The bridge will be OPEN to two lanes of traffic each evening.
The bridge is structurally sound and MoDOT crews are repairing the joint to improve the smoothness of the ride over the bridge.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes around the closure. Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the approaching work zone.
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
