Main Street from 2nd Street to 7th Street will be closed throughout all of Saturday, June 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the Mustang Mother Road Rally and Rockin' the Route Open Car Show taking place downtown. The event will also close east/west traffic across Main Street on 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Streets. During this time, 2nd Street and 7th Street will remain open for east and west traffic.
Due to the closures, the Sunshine Lamp Trolley has announced several relocations of stops in the downtown area. These include:
Library stop is moved to the Economic Security Office, at the southwest corner of 3rd and Joplin Avenue; and City Hall stop will be at Empire District building on the southwest corner of 6th and Joplin Avenue. (These relocations are the same as those established during Third Thursday events.)
