Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:45 p.m. Friday on U. S. 71, one mile south of Jane.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Edwin F. Gonzalez-Mejia, 26, Jasper, struck the rear of a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Jason T. Barnes, 36, Bella Vista, Arkansas.
Barnes and a passenger, Jay M. Barnes, 39, Bella Vista, were treated for minor injuries at Northwest Regional Medical Center.
