Two Avilla children were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:57 p.m. Sunday on Juniper Road, one mile north of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Ford F150 driven by Brandy K. Ritchie, 37, Avilla, ran off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, overcorrected and ran off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence.
A passenger, Jaden P. Green, 14, Avilla, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
Another passenger, Alyessa C. Reed, 5, Avilla, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, to be treated for moderate injuries.
