Neosho man charged with DWI, felony assault, Seneca man seriously injured in accident on 86

A Neosho man was charged with driving while intoxicated and felony assault following a one-vehicle accident 11:15 p.m. Friday on MO 86, two miles north of Racine.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Nissan Titan driven by Soliman A. McCoy, 33, Neosho, ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

A passenger, David L. Wight, 32, Seneca, was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

McCoy was also charged with careless and imprudent driving.
