Domestic disturbance call leads to two arrests, man smearing marijuana-covered feces into Joplin Police car seat

Yesterday evening at 6:40 p.m. our officers responded to 20th and New Hampshire for a domestic disturbance. 

A witness said a male and female were outside a vehicle arguing and the male threatened the female. When officers arrived, they saw the described vehicle speeding away. They stopped it at 22nd and Indiana to investigate. A 29-year-old male gave a false name, and a 32-year-old female was found to have a felony burglary warrant out of Camden County. 

The female was arrested for her warrant. While trying to identify the male, he chose to take off running on foot. He was tased and taken into custody. 

While he was being transported to jail, he retrieved a pill bottle containing marijuana that was hidden in his buttocks area. He defecated his pants, and dumped the marijuana into his feces and rubbed it into the back seat of the police car. He was found to have two felony warrants for burglary 2nd as well, and was also charged with obstruction, resisting and possession of marijuana.
