Joplin teen seriously injured in collision on JJ

A Joplin teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:45 a.m. today on Route JJ, three miles south of Carl Junction.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Chevrolet Prism driven by Martin A. Blotter, 53, Diamond, pulled into the path of a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Robert R. Black, 19, Joplin. Black was ejected from the motorcycle.

Black was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
