A Nevada man was killed and an El Dorado Springs woman injured in a boat explosion 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the 31 mile marker on Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1989 Carver Santigo boat driven by James T. Holcomb, Nevada, exploded after refueling.
Two passengers, Ronald J. Moore, 76, Nevada, and Susan E. Abele-Burns, 58, El Dorado Springs, were airlifted to the University of Missouri Hospital at Columba, where Moore was pronounced dead at 8:34 p.m. Burns was in serious condition.
