Trolley route changes planned for day of Joplin Christmas Parade

Joplin Christmas Parade is Tuesday, Dec. 5, and Main Street from 15th Street to 26th Street will be closed in the late afternoon for staging the 100-plus entries in the event.

Because of this street closure, the Red Route Sunshine Lamp Trolley stops located at 15th, 20th, and 26th Streets will be moved during the 5 o’clock hour. Please note the following changes:

*15th Street stop will be located on the north side of the intersection in front of Dixie Printing;

* Trolley stops located at the Main Street intersections at 20th and 26th Streets will be moved to the west, and the stops will be set up on Joplin Street.

* The Green Route Trolley Stop at 25th will be moved to Virginia Street during the 4 o’clock hour;

* The Green Route will end at 32nd and Main at 6:05 p.m.
