Kansas City man injured as semi crashes into trees off I-49

A Kansas City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11 a.m. today on I-49, one mile south of Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Robert L. Cole, 28, Kansas City, ran off the roadway and struck a fence and some trees.

Cole was treated for minor injuries at Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar.
