Two Carthage residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5 p.m. Tuesday on MO 171, one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Toyota Sienna driven by Loy L. Hendricks, 51, Carthage, struck a deer.
Hendricks and a passenger, Lana Hendricks, 47, Carthage, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
