On 12/22/19, Officer Zimmerman pulled a truck over that was pulling a Pontoon. The tag on the boat trailer came back as stolen.
After a brief investigation it was determined the $30,000 boat had been stolen from Duquesne in 2018. The driver and passenger were both arrested for Tampering in the First Degree. Both subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.

One of the passengers, Jacqueline Parker was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Duquesne for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The driver and two passengers were arrested for Delivery of Controlled Substance and transported to Newton County Jail where the drugs were weighed and the liquid fit the criteria for Trafficking Drugs in the 2nd degree.
