On January 2, 2020, while on routine patrol Officer Sweet observed a vehicle that had a defective headlight.
Officer Sweet made a vehicle stop on the vehicle. After making contact with the driver, Brett Robinson out of Wentworth, Officer Sweet could smell the odor of intoxicants. Robinson was asked to step out of his vehicle to perform the standard field sobriety tests.
Robinson was placed under arrest for DWI.
While at the jail Robinson blew over twice the legal limit.
Charges have been picked by the State for DWI and driving while suspended.
Robinson is innocent until proven guilty by courts.
