Seneca Police Department makes arrests on drugs, felony warrants

On 1/16/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte on an equipment violation. The male driver was arrested for: Possession of Narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/22/20, Officer Kirby made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Washington for moving violations. The male driver was arrested for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/16/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Frisco/Shawnee for a moving violation. The passenger, Amy Cooper was arrested on three warrants.








A felony warrant out of Lawrence County for: Resisting Arrest, a felony warrant out of Taney County Missouri for: Dangerous Drugs, and a misdemeanor warrant out of Aurora for: Stealing. Cooper was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/3/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Bethel/Hwy U for multiple moving violations. The male driver was arrested for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/3/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte for an equipment violation. The driver, Brenda Odneal had a warrant out of Ottawa County for: Passing Bad Checks. Odneal was arrested and cited for the warrant and Possession of Marijuana and transported to Newton County Jail.
