Seneca Police Department makes arrests on Joplin, Newton County warrants

On 1/24/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Hwy 60/Steele Ln for an equipment violation.

The male driver, Bobbie Laughlin had a Newton County warrant for: Passing Bad Checks. Laughlin was arrested on his warrant and for DWR and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/23/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Hwy 43/Lonnie Ln for an equipment violation. The driver, Harley Hurley had warrants out of Joplin for: FTA Trespassing, FTA Domestic Assault, Seat Belt, and Financial Responsibility. Hurley was transported to the Joplin City Jail.

On 1/19/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Washington/Billings for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested and cited for: DWR, No Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/19/20, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Oneida for moving violations. The driver was arrested for Possession and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/9/20, Officer Thiel made a traffic stop on Avalon/Hwy 43 for a moving violation. The driver, Aaron Alsup had a Newton County warrant for: Failure to Register Motor Vehicle and was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 1/8/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop on Hwy 60 for equipment violations. The male driver was arrested and cited for: DWS, No Insurance, and Improper Registration then transported to Newton County Jail.
