Newsmakers program features MSSU distance learning

The Distance Learning program at Missouri Southern State University is the focus of the next edition of “Newsmakers” on KGCS-TV.

Thanks to Zoom - Scott Snell, MSSU distance learning director, and Don Milhuka, MSSU chief information officer, visit with Judy Stiles, host and KGCS general manager, to talk about the university’s change to, and challenges involved with, online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic.










The show will air nightly, beginning tonight, at 5:30 p.m. – and is currently posted on the station’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOB_EXoD4-I&feature=youtu.be.

KGCS programming can be seen on channel 21. It is also available on regional cable television systems such as Sparklight, Mediacom and Suddenlink Communications. The station operates as a service of the Department of Communication at Missouri Southern State University.
