This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated excessive cold risk.
  Limited snow risk.

DISCUSSION...

Very light snow and flurries will continue at times through
tonight and into tomorrow morning. A dusting of snow will be
possible with minor road impacts possible where roads are
untreated, mainly secondary and less traveled roads.

Wind chills will fall into the 5 to 20 below zero range tonight.
Prolonged exposure to the cold could cause damage to exposed skin
in 30 minutes or less.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Bitter cold is expected into early next week. The coldest period
will likely be Saturday night through Monday night with low
temperatures in the single digits above and below zero. Wind
chills from 10 to 20 below zero will be common, especially during
the late night and early morning hours.

Light snow or flurries will be possible Saturday morning. No
impacts are expected.

Periods of snow can then be expected from late Saturday night
into Monday evening. Storm total amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
expected which will create travel impacts.

Light snow is possible again around the middle of next week,
however this system does not look nearly as impactful.
