Agenda posted for Joplin Capital Improvement/Public Safety Sales Tax Committee meeting


Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council have authorized the creation of the Capital Improvement and Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Committee. 

The purpose of this committee is to review collection and expenditures of revenue from the sales tax and progress toward completion of projects funded as a result of the passage of Proposition B by Joplin voters on November 6, 2001, the passage of Proposition A by Joplin voters on August 3, 2004, and the passage of Proposition A by Joplin voters on November 7, 2006.







The next meeting of the advisory committee will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. at City Hall, 5th Floor Council Chambers, 602 South Main Street, Joplin, MO 64801. 

1. Call to order. 

2. Approve minutes from the November 18, 2020 meeting. 

3. Review sales tax collections and projects. 

4. Schedule next meeting of the oversight committee. 

5. Adjournment.
