Arkansas man flown to Freeman following collision with Carthage driver on I-49

 An Arkansas man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:07 p.m. Wednesday on I-49 at the 105.6 mile marker.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Pontiac Vibe driven by Stephen S. Stover, 61, Elkins, Arkansas, struck a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Hilda M. Martinez, 48, Carthage, causing the Stover vehicle to overturn, ejecting Stover.

Stover was flown to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, to be treated for serious injuries.
