A Joplin man was injured in a four-vehicle accident 3:57 p.m. today on MO 66 in Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Robert E. Patton, 50, Joplin, pulled into the path of a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Justin L. Long, 34, Joplin.
Both vehicles traveled off the roadway with Long vehicle hitting the rear of a 2013 Ford Edge driven by Virginia L. Smith, 34, Galena, Kansas, causing the Smith vehicle to hit a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by William P. Grube, 40, Quapaw, Oklahoma.
Patton was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.
