A Golden City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2:41 p.m. today on I-44 west of the 226 mile marker in Franklin County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1997 Ford L8000 driven by Jerry L. Schnelle, 60, Golden City, braked for a crash that was ahead of him, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturn.
Schnelle was treated for serious injuries at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.
