A Joplin man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 9 a.m. today on Connecticut Avenue near 50th Street one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Pontiac Montana driven by Blair E. Byers, 55, Joplin, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Byers was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
