06/26/2023 Officer conducted a stop on W. 15th St. Driver was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail for possession of narcotics-possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia.
 
06/27/2023 Lamar Parks Director Heidi Johnston reported graffiti in the public restrooms in the park. Investigation continues.

06/27/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Gulf in reference to a physical domestic in progress. One person was arrested for 4th degree domestic assault, child abuse/neglect and resisting arrest. Probable cause paperwork was forwarded to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney.

06/27/2023 Officer was dispatched to the Dollar General Store.. Manager reported a theft from the store. Later that night, the suspect was located then transported to the Barton County Jail where she was booked and released with a summons for Shoplifting.







 
06/27/2023 Officer was responded to a past tense theft at Pete’s Gas Station. Suspect returned to the store later. Officer arrested and transported suspect to the Barton County Jail and issued a summons for Stealing under $750 Shoplifting.

06/23/2023 Officer was contacted by an individual who reported 2 burglaries in the 1300 block of E. 12th St. On 06/29/2023, the suspects returned to the scene. When the suspects left the scene, officers conducted a felony car stop and took the driver and one passenger into custody. Paperwork was submitted to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney for 3 counts of 2nd Degree Burglary for one subject and 2nd Degree Burglary for the second subject.
