A Joplin man was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 10:58 p.m. Friday on Coyote Drive at Brewster Lane one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by James N. Throckmorton, 22, Joplin, traveled off the roadway, down a steep embankment and into a dry creek bed.
Throckmorton was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
